On-Air Talent

ALIVE Radio Network is looking for several vocally talented Christian volunteers to comprise our new "On-Air Talent Group". Being part of this group will be very rewarding and fun as you become "one voice" in promoting ALIVE Radio Network to our greater community in varying shifts through-out the day.

The position requires a positive attitude, writing skills, an outgoing personality, a quick wit, and when prepared: voicing and producing commercials and performing client interviews. A willingness to get involved in the community is a must as ALIVE Radio Network often appears at various concerts or events and the on-air host is often asked to attend as a spokesperson.

Members of the "On-Air Talent Group" must be quick learners, have a passion for the programs on ALIVE Radio Network and its advertisers and supporters. Special consideration will be given to those with Christian broadcasting education or experience. If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Steve Klob, Operations Director.

Cleaning Crew

ALIVE Radio Network is a fun, friendly, entertaining place to minister and work. Like other office environments, we need to stay on top of house cleaning and organizing of our offices and recording studios. We're looking for a small team of volunteers who are able to help us clean our studios, offices, kitchen and bathroom during normal business hours. This can be 1-2 hours per week, per month or whenever you have free time. The same great care you would give your church is the same type of volunteer service we'd love to receive here in our Cohoes offices. We supply the cleaning materials and you supply your warm smile and desire to clean.
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Steve Klob, Operations Director.

Event Assistant

Many times ALIVE Radio Network needs volunteers to help set up, break down and physically "man" booths or tables at outdoor and indoor concerts and events. Volunteers who help in this capacity will receive entrance into the concert or event FREE of charge but must also represent ALIVE Radio Network in a fun, professional and enthusiastic manner.
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Steve Klob, Operations Director.

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance workers provide a pleasant outdoor environment for ALIVE Radio Network by ensuring that the grounds and property in Cohoes are clean and clear of any debris during winter and summer months. ALIVE Radio Network sits on 4 acres of land right alongside the Mohawk River on Park Avenue in Cohoes! Volunteering for this work requires repetitive and physically demanding work, requiring frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and shoveling. It also requires your own equipment and insurance.
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Steve Klob, Operations Director.

Production Assistant

Do light voice/production work, or help in the recording of some of our locally produced shows. Duties may include writing, voicing, and producing a variety of local promos, announcements, etc. To ensure on-air sound quality an audition is necessary for the selection of production assistants who do on-air work. Production assistants may also help in remote recordings at different venues.
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Aaron Lucrezio, Production Director.

Volunteer Board Operator

Board Operators run FM programming over the air for the station on the Master Control Board using a variety of audio equipment, including a Digital Automation System to monitor the on-air sound. It's like being a radio disc jockey without all the on-air work. You would be trained on all the equipment that it takes to run the station. No experience is necessary. Volunteers do at least one shift a week and the shift can last anywhere from one hour to four hours. Shifts are available during all times of the week and day. It's a lot of fun being in control of a radio station, and it's great resume experience if you ever wanted to work in broadcasting!
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Aaron Lucrezio, Production Director.

Operations Assistant

Responsibilities include assisting the operations manager in making sure all programs being fed over the content depot distribution system come down and are checked on a weekly/daily basis. You will also do some digital editing and computer automation work. The schedule for this type of work is variable, depending on when you are available, will determine what you would be responsible for. Operations assistants may also be responsible for assisting with remote recordings at different venues as needed.
If you're interested in this type of work, please contact Steve Klob, Operations Director.

Volunteer Waiver: If you become a volunteer for ALIVE Radio Network, you waive the right to hold Capital Media Corporation or ALIVE Radio Network responsible should anything happen to you (like injury sustained by a fall) while performing simple volunteer duties and tasks outlined above.
