WHAZ is one of the first radio stations to begin broadcasting in the United States in 1922. It was originally owned by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). WHAZ AM 1330 is the first station in the Capital District to broadcast religious programs and has been doing so since the 1960's.
Part of ALIVE Radio Network since 1992, WBAR-FM 94.7 broadcasts from our company owned tower on the highest mountain close to exit 18 of the Northway. From Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties, WBAR-FM 94.7 covers an area north of the Capital District including Lake George.
Part of ALIVE Radio Network since 1992, WMYY-FM 97.3 broadcasts from the highest mountain and tower just eight miles west of Camp Pinnacle in the Helderberg Mountains. WMYY-FM 97.3 is "the" station to listen to throughout the Capital Region and also Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
WHAZ-FM 97.5 is strategically located on the dial next to 97.3 FM (WMYY), WHAZ-FM 97.5 covers the Eastern part of the greater Capital Region while also broadcasting to Bennington, Vermont and North Adams, Massachusetts.
Since 1997, WMNV-FM 104.1 has been a part of ALIVE Radio Network to cover a wide area of not only Eastern Warren and Washington Counties of New York, and the Southern part of the Adirondack Mountains, but also a large part of Western Vermont including Manchester.
